| KIND News | In June 1999, the HSEC voted
to fully fund a pilot humane education program entitled KIND News
for Falling Creek Elementary. Invitations to participate in this
program were sent to all the elementary schools in Elbert County.
Teachers felt that this program enhanced value system, responsibility,
and encouragement they were already trying to provide their students. HSEC will be funding 58 classes for the
2002/2003 school year at all the Elbert County elementary schools to
receive the Kind News.
